WEEKLY NEWS 12.18.17
NEWSLETTER FROM MRS. WERBECK and MISS MUNTEAN:
We learned about the angels telling the shepherds about the birth of Jesus. We used Christmas story magnets to tell the story to make interesting for the children. We continued to work on our Christmas gifts and got them all done!!!
Hopefully, you and your family had the chance to come see our Christmas play on Tuesday night or the preschool program with older brother and sisters. They were both awesome.
Thank you to everyone who bought a book from the book fair. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
We had a tornado drill on Monday. The turtle positions are coming along nicely.
We have a peanut allergy in the room so please make sure hands are clean of any peanut foods the children may have had at home.
We are collecting Box Tops for December. They were due Friday, however if you still have some please get to us ASAP we’ll get them turned in.
Thank for all the family pictures. Please take a look at our family wall. The kids are loving being able to see everyone during the day.
Please dress your children for the weather. We will be going outside twice a day, every day. Don’t forget hats, gloves and proper shoes also. Some hands and heads have been cold this past week.
Please check your child’s folder every day and their cubbies.
Water bottles with the child’s name on it would be appreciated. We do not have extra cups in the room.
We will be having a Christmas party (Polar Express Themed) on Wednesday, December 20 from 10-11AM. Thank you for signing up for supplies!
Christmas break starts Thursday, December 21 . We resume classes on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
Nikki and I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
