Toddler Sample Daily Schedule

Toddlers are just beginning to develop their social skills. It is often difficult for them to verbally communicate their wants with anther child. When toddlers have trouble with a situation, our Toddler Center staff will explain what desirable behavior is needed then guide, comfort, redirect the child. Toddler classrooms are set up so your child will be able to grow successfully in these areas. Staff will make daily observations and record these observations to chart the progress and growth for each child in each of these areas.

We use a curriculum called Creative Curriculum. It is designed to meet the needs of children ages birth to 36 months. It is divided into four basic developmental goals for the toddler:

1. To learn about self and others.
2. To learn about moving.
3. To learn about the world.
4. To learn about communicating.
